Beyond Conflict: assists leaders in divided societies struggling
with conflict, reconciliation and societal change by facilitating
direct contact with individuals who have navigated similar
challenges in other settings. Our powerful methodology of
shared experience is grounded in two core principles: that
people can learn from each other and that people can change.
The Bridge Alliance: is a diverse coalition of more than 80
respected established organizations committed to revitalizing
democratic practice in America. Since it’s often difficult for any
one group to fully capture public attention or broadly popularize solutions, we are banding together to create great impact
across three broad areas: civic engagement, governance and
policymaking, and campaign and election processes.
Bridge the Divide is a political intitiative that seeks to promote
political conversation amongst youth in a time of great divide
in both American and global political affairs. We work to unite
politically active students who desire to create change in the
world by stimulating conversation between young people in a
productive and respectful manner. We are run solely by young
people to work towards a more politically-prosperous, collective future for young people.
Civil Politics Civil Politics is a non-profit organization whose
expertise lies in the use of data to understand moral psychology. We regularly publish articles in scientific journals
concerning the antecedents and consequences of specific
moral views. Our mission is to serve groups and individuals
who are trying to bridge moral divisions by connecting them
with scientific research in this domain.
Essential Partners was founded in 1989 as the Public Conversations Project, and works nationally and internationally
to foster constructive conversation where communities are
divided over identities, beliefs and values. We offer direct
facilitation in the midst of divisive conflict, as well as training
for facilitators and leaders who wish to become proficient at
working effectively to bring forward the opportunities hidden
in the midst of our differences.
